Just got back in last night from Four Mile Lake (original name, eh?) where I spent the long weekend with family and friends. Everything went online while I was away and things seem to have gone very well. The feedback has been mostly positive, with only a few people commenting that they had hoped for more Canadian cultural icons (hockey pucks, beer, etc). Thank you very much for your feedback, if I have the opportunity to do this again I will happily take that under consideration!

All of my inboxes are flooded with two questions:

1. Where is the content in the Marketplace?
2. How long is this content going to be available for?

I’ve asked JunkInTheTrunk (XBOX Canada Marketing & Online Community) to share some of those answers. So where is that content Junk?

You just have to go to the marketplace blade, click on the themes and gamerpics, and then new arrivals – you should see Canada Day 2007. Both are in there.

Otherwise you can also find them in All Themes and All Gamerpics both under Canada Day 2007 or by clicking on the banner you may see on the left hand side of the Live Blade.

As for how long it’s going to be available for:

Thanks for those Junk. He did mention that it is most likely only the theme that will be coming down and that the gamerpics may stay.  Stay tuned for more.  As for me, I’m going to be on vacation this week so hopefully I’ll be able to spend some quality time with my 360 between getting some stuff done around the house and working on the art.

If you have suggestions as to what you’d like to see in a future picture pack, why not drop us a comment on this thread. Not that I’m saying such a thing will ever happen, but it’s nice to have this sort of thing in your back pocket should the opportunity arise!

And while we’re on the subject of comments, if there was something you really liked or really didn’t like about the theme or picture pack I’d like to know that too. Which was your favourite gamerpic?

So, you can’t say that I never did anything for you Canada!!! One kick-ass theme, seven killer gamerpics and all for FREE!!! These should all be going online in a few days on XBOX Live Marketplace. While I don’t know for sure, I’m assuming you’ll find these in the ‘Community’ section.
